Rhonda Joy McLean is the President and CEO of RJMLEADS LLC, a leadership advancement consulting firm based in New York City. She is the former Deputy General Counsel of Time Inc, a global media company, where she managed one-third of the Law Department for nearly twenty years, providing advice and counsel to clients including PEOPLE, TIME, SPORTS ILLUSTRATED, FORTUNE, MONEY AND ESSENCE brands. She is the co-author of the best-selling "Little Black Book of Success" series, and speaks about leadership to diverse clients, including individuals and institutions in the public and private sectors, across the country.
A past chair of the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan New York and other non-profit organizations, including the New York Women's Foundation, Attorney McLean is currently serving as chair of development on the Board of Trustees of Union Theological Seminary. She also sits on the Friends Council of the Urban Resource Institute of New York City. She has received numerous awards for her commitment to excellence in, and greater access to the legal profession as well as her mentoring of hundreds of young people pursuing legal careers and others interested in career transition. She is the immediate past president of the Greater New York Chapter, The Links, Incorporated, an international organization of 16,000 African-American businesswomen committed to supporting traditionally underserved communities and helping students expand their educational trajectories. |
